Of Tablets and Copic Markers...

Comments

My month without a drawing tablet was somewhat cured by Copic markers, which also meant a faster flow of money out of my pockets. Hurrr. In the end, I bought myself a small Bamboo Pen to replace my Bamboo Fun T___T It's such a sad, sad thing because Bamboo Pen only provides half the pressure sensitivity on Bamboo Fun. This is when I feel a nagging feeling of regret for not forking out the money (that I actually have) for an Intuous 4 or another Bamboo Fun. *sobs*

I'll be starving myself starting from next week. See if I can save enough money for an Intuous or better yet, a new laptop and/or a tablet PC.

Wait, wait, wait. Can I actually save money for it? I'm currently collecting Copic markers, so... Ugh. Why must Copics be so damn expensive?? Think I'd get them cheaper in Singapore? At least a little bit cheaper than RM13.41 per marker for Copic Original? Which also reminds me that I have to set aside money for our Singapore/Hatyaai trip -_-" Double damn. I will so go back to sulking now.

Ciao.

No shit... Really, now, why am I always so slow at drawing? It's not the toning that takes away my life. It's the lineart (not to mention my fail! anatomy skills).

Also, I need to get the gallery back in order on the main Witty Fool site and finish the localised version of it before next week. It's not that I couldn't do it fast enough. I'm just being lazy. I've been setting aside tasks that involves coding for a while now. Without HTMLPad, I probably would be 10 times lazier.

Great. I think I've just opened up a new blog with a rather bitchy tone. Way to go, self.

p.s/ The original version, with all webclap replies made for Cielo Viola will stay at http://the.witty.fool.jp. Unless webclap comments are left in English, replies will always be in Japanese. This ranting spot place will focus on Witty Fool, so everything is mostly in English (and Malay, occassionally. Kufufu~).

Titleless AraPuri+1827 Doujinshi Project

Comments

It's now summer holidays for us University of Auckland students and my flight home is less than two weeks away. I can't wait to go back ♥ At the moment, I'm struggling to finish two doujinshis at the same time. One of them is a long 1827 + AraPuri doujin that I hope I'll be able to finish before the deadline (or I'll have to halve it into parts :P).

Establishing a new style is quite a hard, but I'll manage. 2010 will hopefully be a different year for me :)

About 「心は立ち止まったまま」 and "Orange Blossoms"

Comments

"Kokoro wa Tachidomatta Mama"「心は立ち止まったまま」(When My Heart Stood Still) was originally planned to be ready for offline publication by December 2009, but well... Things happened. I've decided (for now) that WMHSS will be a webManga series instead. The main story (intro/prologue whatever) will probably remain as offline publication project. A new 'room' will be opened within Cielo Viola because WMHSS itself is an arc - it's a universe where I will lump more than just one story together.

"Orange Blossoms" which will be released in the next Tsunafish e-Doujin issue (short and sweet, 5 pages) is a subplot in the WMHSS universe.
